An Introductory Q & A to running Gaussian 03
ESS 115 NOON

Gaussian 03 is an excellent tool for understanding processes and properties at the molecular level. This talk will be informal, designed to introduce new users to the operation of the program and begin to get people to where they can run their own calculations. An overview of calculation types, basis sets, CI methods, the Gaussview interface, and potential perils and pitfalls will be presented. The majority of time will be spent discussing questions on individual projects.
